The Twin Pod Airbox, which is a prominent trademark design, originally conceptulized and developed by our esteemed team at JMAX Engineering, offers several advantages for the Ranger Raptor model. Its dual intake pods provide increased airflow to the engine, resulting in improved horsepower and torque. Additionally, the design ensures efficient filtration of air, minimising the risk of engine damage caused by dust and debris.
Our solution for the factory Ford Airbox’s T-piece design in the Ranger Raptor model is a twin intake system that eliminates competition for airflow between the turbo’s, improving engine performance.
RANGER RAPTOR TWIN POD AIRBOX DETAILS:
- Our custom Twin pod Aluminium airbox is 100% water/dust sealed
- 4″ Inlet and twin 3 1/2″ outlet
- Powder-coated in textured black
- One way water valve
- Clear inspection lid with Stainless pressure plate
- Stainless steel fixings with rubber seals
- Twin Highflow K&N pod-filters (washable)
- Airbox utilises factory mounts and does require any additional cutting
While the Twin Pod Airbox is specifically designed to suit the Jmax snorkel, it may be possible to adapt it to other snorkel kits, however we do not supply fittings to other brands,
